Freely Confined, 2018

Documentary work on the home.

When confined to the four walls of the house, all Bracewell ever saw her family doing was working at the computer, playing v-box or watching TV. Although her family may all be in the same room, they are completely isolated from on another.

When outside of the home, ‘UK’s Best Village’ may not be all what its cracked up to be. After supplying her younger brothers with their own disposable cameras, it became quite apparent that not only are they never on their digital devices like they are at home, but they are free to roam wherever they want - within the community ofcourse.

The irony lies in the comments within the book and the digital images that are in complete juxtaposition to the disposable ones found within the pages of the handmade book.
